Buttermilk Falls & Warren County

So Ron and I went on a short road trip to some spots in Warren County. First we went on a short walk where Ron goes hunting in fall. This area of New Jersey is so different from where we are, it's so quiet and peaceful...and RURAL! It's so strange to be somewhere alone in NJ in Central NJ we're constantly surrounded by people that its weird to be in a field and not even hear other cars. Nature is loud.

We saw tons of nature. Here is a pink flower.
We also saw a mother duck and her ducklings. Sooo cute! This picture isn't showing up to well here, but it does on the Kodak gallery. After a long day, including some fishing on Ron's part (caught zip) we went to Hot Dog Johnny's for dinner. Hot Dog Johnny just recently celebrated 60 years in being a road side attraction. The hot dogs are deep fried in...peanut oil. Oy! Tasty but lets just say we don't go there very often for a reason.

Memorial Day Weekend 2007

Here are some pictures from the beach house.

Sweet Wesley!
Wesley again!

Island Beach State Park for some surf fishing!
Here is spunky Devin the Dude, he has so much energy that he is very hard to capture on film! But its well worth it when you do .

Here is Ron preping his pole for some surf fishing, he caught an amazing zero fish but his face shows you the effort he put into the endevour.
And finally...

This is what happens when I get bored on a long car ride to the beach in some traffic...

First lets see what it would look like if there was someone looking at me who was about 1 foot taller than me.

Then.... lets pretend its a grand day at the races.
There are very many more but I will spare the blog.

Museum of Natural History

Mother's Day 2007

My mom and I went to NYC for mother's day and we had such a fantastic time. More pictures to follow but here is a video of a semi-famous street performer named Thoth. He had a documentary filmed about him and it won an Academy Award. The noise you hear is him singing.
